Palme D'or winner Nuri Bilge Ceylan is recognized as one of the most acclaimed directors globally. The first three features of the celebrated director, namely “The Small Town”, “Clouds of May” and “Distant” are also known as his “Provincial Trilogy.” As part of the project, jazz pieces were composed on eleven scenes selected from these three films. In the concerts, the musicians will perform the compositions on stage while the audience watch the scenes on a screen. The composer of the project, pianist Yiğit Özatalay, is accompanied by Barış Ertürk on the saxophone and Mustafa Kemal Emirel on the drums.
